Thanksgiving 2009!

Talking!!!

This past week has been extraordinary in terms of changes with Finn. This has been the most significant week to date.

Finn said two sentences this week. Yesterday he said; "Kitty went bye bye" And today he said; " I brush my teeth".

He also cracked me up today because after he threw his cup across the room I yelled at him. He started to cry and said "Mommy, Mommy" (which is nothing new) and I said "That's a NO, NO." To which Finn, through tears said, "Hi Baby" (which I say to him all the time). I almost cried a little. It was awfully cute.

One and a half years old!!!!

Finn turned 18 months old yesterday.

He is very funny and exhausting and just plain fabulous. He says "Oh no" a lot. Mommy and Daddy are his other two big ones. If you ask him what mommy says he goes "No, No, NO" and wags his finger. He is starting to put sentences together. His first official sentence was the other day and he said "Kitty go bye bye". I was kind of amazed. He sees animals in books and on TV and will either say their name or make their sound. It seems that he turned 18 months old and everything started to fall in to place for him and make more sense. He likes to tickle us. He mimics everything we do. He takes a shower with me many mornings. I kept thinking he was trying to get out of the shower because he would put his foot on the side of the tub. I finally realized he was trying to "shave his legs". Too funny that kid.

I was at my brothers house last week, He has one of those huge movie screens. We put in American Carny to see what Finn would do to see Todd and I so huge. These pictures are awesome!

Big Apple Circus

Finn first circus.

He LOVED it. I was so prepared to have to take him out every 15 minutes or so. He barely moved throughout the entire thing. He bounced back and forth between my lap, Todd's lap and the booster seat. We then hung out backstage with Bello and Barry (Grandma) and then went out to dinner with Bello and family.

Finn did not care though.
