Time to go home

Packing it all up. Headed back to New York City!

Soooo sleepy in the car.

Finn went to the sideshow bar in Washington D.C. (he was there before it actually opened) and Todd showed him all the cool stuff there.

Six months old today!

Wow -

It's going by awfully fast.

Cheerios and a cup

He's eating cheerios (well, eating may not be quite the right word . . .pushing, tasting and trying to figure out what to do with them is more like it). And he LOVES drinking water from my cup.

Finn's rocking chair

Well, it's not really his. It's a random little rocking chair that was in my parents house, so I put Finn in it. And it's damn cute. (I took the pictures with my phone so they're, eh - he is an angel but the top of his head doesn't actually glow)

Seriously . . .

He LOVES Sesame Street.

What?

There are three things to discuss about these pictures

1) He's wearing shoes. Is that not ridiculous and hilarious? Today was the first day he ever wore shoes.

2) He is eating a teething biscuit that Jodi gave me. I didn't think he would be interested. He loved it so much that I had to take it away from him (and he was NOT happy about that) when it started to break apart.

3) He's watching Sesame Street INTENTLY.

This is really only interesting to me. And maybe Todd. And possibly my mother.

Things on his head

For whatever reason, Finn loves things being on his head. He always has. Starting with a little bear we had when he was a few weeks old. My mom used to rock him to sleep and put a blanket over his head. Now I have to take the blanket away at night when I put him down or he will pull it over his head and that freaks me out. I was out with him today and he was in his new umbrella stroller. I have a stroller sack that I've been using since it has been cold. So five minutes after being out, Finn figured out how to pull the blanket off the stroller and put it on his head.

Who brings a baby to a bar?

I mean . . . really!

When did he get so big?

He looks like such a big boy in these pictures!

How not to feed your child

I'm thinking it's time to break down and get a highchair.
